Mamonas assassinas's Biography - Caio =]

       Mamonas assassinas was a Rock band. They made great success in 1996 among children, adolescents and adults. With unique and contagious humor that conquered Brazil.

      They started getting famous in 1995, and in 1996 the whole country knew about them.
      The group was formed by Samuel Real, Julio Rasec, Sergio Reoli and Bento Himoto from Garulhos, and Dinho from Irecê, Bahia. Besides playing guitar, Julio Rasec also made vocals in some songs, like "Vira-Vira".
      The group was first named Utopia, and was specialized in covers of groups. By the time they changed its name, João Augusto Soares heard about it and signed with the band. A partnership that made a profit of millions of copies sold in less than a year.
      In March 1996, the group was returning from Brasilia when their plane crashed, killing the funniest and most talented group Brazil has ever seen.
